.A Practical Approach to
.Posterior Tooth Morphology
.Classroom Concepts Translate into Clinical Success.

This two day, hands-on course will instruct the technician and dentist how to design the best possible occlusal morphology for the unique requirements of every patient. DeVreugd's concepts are reality based and time proven. Information furnished to the technician varies with each patient often creating uncertainty and multiple challenges. Both the dentist and technician can rely on the "DeVreugd Compass Concept" to serve as a map for better occlusal design.

New and different challenges face today's dental team. We have seen an increased presence from offshore services and the escalation of implant placement, CAD/CAM and pressed ceramic restorations. A complete understanding of function and morphology ensures restoration accuracy and increases each patient's quality of life.

CLASSROOM CONCEPTS TRANSLATE INTO CLINICAL SUCCESS

From the content of the course, participants will learn:

* A clear understanding of how the "DeVreugd CompassConcept" can be applied to tooth sections with different occlusal contacts or different rotations and every possible articulation of the mandible

* How the dentist and technician can effectively communicate with each other in order to obtain accurate and sufficient information

* Why implants require special attention to forces and morphology

* How to design axial contours for patient comfort and hygiene

* How the "DeVreugd Compass Concept" adapts to the Pankey-Dawson, Bioesthetics and Neuromuscular and Gnathologic concepts of occlusion

* How these techniques save the technicians, dentists and patients time by reducing or eliminating the need for chairside adjustments and costly remakes
